Bio
Joshua Kahan is a Hong Kong and London based animator, illustrator and filmmaker.
He has been drawing since he was a child and spent most of his childhood and formative years glued to the television watching cartoons and films. This undoubtedly contributed to the appreciation and development of a wide range of live action and animation styles which he incorporates into his work.
Joshua writes, shoots (photography and video), illustrates animates and edits.
A creative one man army. If he doesn’t do it, he will know someone that does.
He has a degree in animation from UAL-LCC, is the author of three books; See Tom Cruise Run (2014) Hats (2020), Keanu Reeves and the Big Bad Whoa (2022). He also had a viral hit with Japanese Doctor Who which also screened at film festivals globally in 2014 and has worked in a variety of industries from luxury and corporate to f&b and entertainment.
