Steak KingĀ - Black Friday
I recently had the pleasure of making these short social media promos for Steak King.
We only had about two weeks to produce these, which meant each piece had to be simple to produce (as there were six to make).
The standard two rounds of revisions wouldn’t be entirely feasible due to the short deadline which I wouldn’t usually be happy about, but on this occasion liked as it meant one couldn’t afford to be precious about things and that energy helped with the momentum of production.
I generally aim to design social media animations to loop nicely due to the way in which reels on Instagram work at present. The animated slot machine is a case in point.
I would imagine the typical metric for success to be how many sales these ads directly translated to.
Another metric is how memorable they were. Did they catch the audience’s eye? Does it bring awareness of the brand to new potential customers that didn’t exist previously?
Again, I don’t have access to specific data, but hopefully yes. And if I am asked to do more, well that might also be a good indicator.
